Dorothy A. Trom (nee Monahan) 85, of Des Plaines, was born June 22, 1932 in Evanston, IL to Gerhardt and Pearl Monahan and passed away April 29, 2018. Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Edward P. “Bud” Trom; loving mother of Cynthia M. (Michael) DiGilio, Steven M. (Maureen) Trom and Kevin P. (Erin) Trom; dear grandmother of Michael, Kristin, Caitlin, Kyle, Courtney, Chloe, Ryan and Colin; great grandmother of Hayden and Preston; fond sister of Judy Kobliska, the late Kathryn Ruesch, the late Frannie Meyer and the late Pat Wall; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 9, 2018 from 3-8 PM at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights. Prayers will be said Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 8:30 AM at the funeral home and proceed to St. Zachary Catholic Church, 567 W. Algonquin Road, Des Plaines for a Funeral Mass at 10 AM.
