Dennis Michael Campion born September 29, 1940, died September 27, 2024.
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Dennis Campion of Arlington Heights, Illinois. Dennis is survived by his wife, Maryellen, and his sons, Michael (Katie) and Brendan (Clare), his grandchildren, Joshua, James and Jacqueline, and many nieces and nephews. Dennis’ brothers, Eugene, James and Larry preceded him in death. Dennis loved woodworking and created many pieces of furniture. He also built a cottage in Wisconsin where many family memories were made. He loved watching sports, and coached his sons’ soccer and basketball teams in their early years. He shared his love of cars with his sons as well. Dennis worked in healthcare finance for many years and created many lasting friendships there. He loved to travel and spend time with his grandchildren. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served in Germany and enjoyed revisiting that area later in life.
