She died Tuesday, June 17, 2014 in Arlington Heights.Mrs. Holt worked as a pre-school teacher for the Schaumburg Park District from 2003-2013 and William Rainey Harper College as a pre-school teacher from 1997 to 2004. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, playing bunco, and travelling.Cheryl is survived by her spouse of 45 years, William H. Holt whom she married, March 1, 1969 in Battle Creek, MI; her children, William G. Holt, and Gwendolyn E. (Eric) Chisausky; her grandchildren, Colin and Liam Chisausky; and her brothers, Randy (Brenda) Griffith and Lester Griffith, Jr.She was preceded in death by her sisters, Ingrid Griffith and Chrystal Schulist; and her parents.Visitation from 4 pm until 8 pm, Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Hts. Rd., Arlington Heights. A funeral service will be held at 10 am, Friday, June 27, 2014 at the funeral home.
