Susan Garnett Pritchard Owens

Susan Garnett Pritchard Owens, 87, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 19, 2021 at her residence. She was born on June 19, 1934 in Avery County, NC to the late Granville and Flossie Davis Pritchard.

Susan loved to read, helping others during her nursing career, and most importantly loved spending time with her family. She was also a lady who was very strong in her faith of her Lord.

Susan is preceded in death by her parents and husband of 57 years, Bailey Owens.

Susan is survived by Diane (John) Parker, Steve (Tami) Owens, Shelia (Ken) Stinson, Kathy (James) McCracken, Thomas (Stephanie) Owens, 12 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Advantage Funeral 120 Trindale Rd Archdale, Thursday 7/22 from 6-8 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held at Trindale Baptist Church 10407 Archdale Rd. on Friday 7/23 at 1 pm.

Burial will take place at Floral Garden Park Cemetery following the Celebration of Life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Susan’s name to Trindale Baptist Church 10407 Archdale Rd Trinity NC 27370.
