Jo Ann was born April, 11, 1929 in Buena Vista, Virginia; a daughter of the late J. Kyle Shewey and T. Kyle Page. She was a member of Saint John's United Methodist Church in Buena Vista, Virginia. She retired from the Presbyterian Home of High Point. She previously owned antique shops in Rutherfordton and High Point, NC. Jo Ann volunteered for many organizations within the community and the church. Preceded in Jo Ann's death was her husband, Russell Southworth, Russell's daughter, Amy Chandler and son David Southworth.
Survivors are two daughters, Kyle Page Terrell and Ann T. Carroll, two sons; Paul A. Terrell and James D. Terrell (Deborah),two step-daughters, Cathy Vickers (Charlie) and Carol Nugent (Bobby), grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
