Gene Gray Williams, age 55, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2023 at the Hospice Home of High Point.
Gene was born in Winston Salem on October 24, 1968, a son of Howard and Barbara Williams. He was currently employed by the Carpenter Company and had previously worked at Breakaway Honda in Greenville, SC. Gene loved sports, especially watching his son play various sports, and cheering for the Seattle Seahawks. He could make everybody laugh at his jokes, was the life of the party, and was an accomplished cook. Gene was a state foosball champion in 1994. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Surviving is his wife, Christi Fulp Williams; a son, Zorn Williams; his father, Howard Williams; a sister, Teresa Williams and a brother, Harold Williams and his wife Cindy; several nieces and nephews and his beloved cat, Zoey.
A Celebration of Gene's life will be held Friday, December 29, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Advantage Funeral and Cremation Chapel in Archdale by Pastor Terry Brandon. The family will receive friends following the service at Archdale Wesleyan Church Fellowship Hall, 308 Hattie St., Archdale, NC 27263 until 6:30 p.m.
