Mr. Donald Ray Davis

Don was a man of the Baptist faith, and was a member of Community Baptist Church. He spent his life as a maintenance man for several companies throughout his career and retired as a well respected, hard working man many years ago. Don enjoyed fishing and collecting toy ducks and knives. He also loved to trade and make a good deal. Don really enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of the home Jean Davis of 36 years; Children: Donna Mcconnell, Sharon Nichols (Mike), John W. Bolton (Linda), David B. Bolton (Lynn), Brenda Bolton, and Michael K. Bolton; Grandchildren: Nathan (Summer), Daniel (Mymy), Sarah, Anthony (Leslie), Craig (Paula), Nicole (Dwayne), Kenny, Brittany, Jacqueline (Jason), Megan (DJ), Terry (Haley), Selena (Jonathan), Trent (Kayla) Erika, Samantha, Mathew, Mason, and Hannah; as well as several great-grandchildren, family, friends and sweet fur babies Zoey and Miss Kitty.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sydney Walter and Treva Davis; Sister, Lois Hanes; brother Darrell Davis; two grandsons, Michael Lee Nichols and Joshua Wiles; Granddaughter Molly Michelle Bolton, and son in law Clark Dale.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, January 5, 2023 at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services,120 Trindale Rd, Archdale, NC with Pastor Ty Thompson and Pastor Tim White officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
