Wife, Mother Grandmother and most importantly friend, Jane Lagosh passed on June 10th 2024 surrounded by family. She leaves behind Her husband Ross, sons Steven and Daniel, and daughter Krystal, two siblings John and Steve, and two grandkids Hadley and Andew. She was born January 17th 1956 and raised by Betty and John DePaula. She is the youngest of the three siblings. Grew up in Bloomington California and spent most of her life in the High Desert raising a family with her husband Ross.
She loved adventure and was passionate about teaching. She had an appreciation for the outdoors and was not afraid of a tent or to get a little dirty while roughing it with her boys on a camping trip. She loved to drive and was an advocate for a good road trip. Well educated with a bachelors from California State University San Bernardino. She was so dedicated to her students that she, later in her career, went to California State University San Marcos to earn her master's degree. In her 20 year career as a teacher for Barstow Unified School district she influenced and taught well over 600 students.
She loved animals. Started young while in school herself as a member of F.F.A (Future Farmers of America) She had few livestock animals she raised and a horse, Strawberry Roan, named Candy that she rode alongside with her brother. She was always surrounded by some 4 or 2 legged companion. That was not limited to just dogs but the occasional chicken or lizard.
She loved people and having a good meal. Swapping recipes and sharing what she's got going on in her life. Fiercely smart and quick witted there was barely an argument she couldn't win. A great friend, sister, daughter, Mother, Grandmother and Wife. She put family first and was your biggest fan. It was a daily occurrence for her to check in and see how her grandbabies were doing. Always ready at the drop of a hat to take an adventure in the fifth wheel with her Husband and explore the world around her. Immensely supportive and loving. It's an understatement to say she will be missed.
