Timothy Kurt Breit

Timothy K. Breit, age 83, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2024 surrounded by his family. He was born June 21, 1940 in Rockford, Ill. Tim leaves behind Margie, his loving wife of 35 years and his children Dawn (Rick) Walmer of South Beloit, IL, Sandy (Ed) Brown of Avon Park, FL., Pamella (Johnny) Walker of Jacksonville ,FL., Michael (Christy) Breit of Alpharetta, GA., Renee (Tim) Devlin of Lakeland, FL., Sheri (Daniel) Revis of Davie, FL., Dawn Rotti of Mount Dora, FL., Wayne Buckner of Mount Dora, FL .,11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He is also predeceased by his parents Chester and S.Lavelle Breit of Rockford,IL., and sisters Nancy (Ted) Pabiniak of Rockford, IL., and Genevieve (Geva) Thompson of Rockford, IL.Tim grew up in northern Illinois and Wisconsin, so after he moved to Florida in 1978 he vowed to never live where there was snow again. He has remained a Florida resident ever since.Tim had many professions including mail carrier, college professor and computer data programmer/ technician in the early years of computers. After retirement Tim and Margie would be known to travel across the country or take cruises to the Caribbean, Alaska and Hawaii. He loved his family very much and he would often be seen with his grandchildren. Tim loved facts , figures, all kinds of data, politics, Civil War and World War ll history. He was a former resident of Zellwood Station in Zellwood, FL. He was a true family patriarch and will be missed.
