Robert (Bob to his friends and relatives) was born June 26, 1936 in Chicago, IL. He served in the Korean War and shortly after returning to the U.S., he met Patricia Zmich, also of Chicago. They were soon married and had 5 children together. After getting his Electronic Technician Certification at DeVry Technical Institute in Chicago, Robert worked as a TV, phonograph and radio repairman. With his entrepreneurial spirit, Robert owned and operated his own businesses, most notably Bob's TV Service for many years. Robert's hobbies included reading, walking, and tinkering with electronics. He had a beautiful heart which powered a kind and generous spirit. He enjoyed helping others and he always put his wife and children's needs ahead of his own.
Robert was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years. He is survived by his 5 children and his 4 grandchildren. His eternal optimism shined brightly for his family for many decades. He will be greatly missed.
A memorial mass will be held in Robert's honor at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, October 7, 2016 at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Franklin, TN. Following the mass, Robert's ashes will be buried alongside his wife's ashes at the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Nashville, TN.
