Mr. Robert “Bob” William Bartsch, 90, of Cary, NC passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023 after a long illness. He is survived by his wife, Avda Bartsch.
Bob was born on May 24, 1932 in Bronx, New York to Thomas Bartsch and Ida Becker.
Bob was proud of his tour of duty as a Captain in the US Marine Corps, and of his several decades of work for the Department of Human Resources for Westchester County, NY where he served as Deputy Commissioner.
He is survived by his children: Leslie (Jerry)Earhart, Judi (Ralph) Parente, David (Michele)Bartsch, Debra Bartsch, Lisa (Stew) Schwartz, Karyn Schwartz, 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions may be donated to The Shriners Hospital for Children or St. Jude’s Hospital for Children.
