Paul Henderson Walton Jr.

Bo died Sunday, March 17, 2013 after an extended Illness. He was born in Durham County on October 19, 1926. He is preceded in death by his parents: Paul H. Walton, Sr. and Mary Helen Council Walton; sister: Dorothy Walton Ferrell. He grew up in the Nelson Community and graduated from Lowe’s Grove School. Bo served his country during WWII in Germany for 2 years.

Bo was very active in the Morrisville Christian Church where he served as Deacon, Superintendent of Sunday School and Choir Director. He was very active with the Morrisville Fire Department where he helped to build the first fire station. He owned and operated Walton Sanitation Service. He retired from the Wake County ABC Board after 28 years in Morrisville store.

Bo is survived by his wife of 65 years, Emma “Tet” Green Walton; daughter: Annie Walton Wyatt; son: Jack V. Walton and wife, Connie. Bo has 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was especially fond of his special 17 year old cat, Rosie.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 PM Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St. Apex. A memorial service will begin at 3:00 pm Saturday in the Chapel of Apex Funeral Home. There will be a private burial in the family cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a Hospice of one’s choice or a Charity of one’s choice.
