Paul Leonard Stanko

He is survived by his wife of 56 years Barbara Stanko. He is also survived by his loving children – son Jason Stanko (Claire Stanko nee Brennan); daughter Shannon Abraham (Jeff Abraham) and Grandchildren Lily, Riley and Brennan. Family members also include sisters Geraldine, Margaret, Rosie, late sister Beth, and late brother Joseph. Paul was loved by his entire circle of family, including numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Paul was born on September 14th, 1948 to the late Leonard Stanko and Rosemary Stumm. He grew up on Grosse Ile, MI and lived in various parts of downriver Michigan. Following his retirement, he and Barabara lived in Loudon, TN. He loved the outdoors and would often be found golfing, fishing, hiking, or boating. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren, Lily, Riley, and Brennan. Paul was an industrial engineer with Ford Motor Co., always wanting to understand the mechanics of how things work, especially when it came to cars.

Paul will be greatly missed by all of his family, loved ones and everyone who knew him.
