Patrick Thomas Sullivan was born April 17, 2001, in Cary, North Carolina, to Vincent Joseph and Kerry Wynne Sullivan. He was a graduate of Green Hope High School where he was a member of the symphonic, jazz, and marching bands.
He went on to attend North Carolina State University where he was a sophomore majoring in Materials Science and Engineering. Patrick had a lifelong love of science and technology and was active in the NC State Liquid Rocketry Club. He continued his love of music, playing euphonium in the Triangle Pride Band. In addition to music and science he had a wide range of interests, including history, world events, and cooking. He held a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He studied philosophy, and Camus was his favorite.
To many of his closest friends, he was a trusted confidant and someone to go to for support and understanding. He will be deeply missed by his large, extended family and a wide circle of friends.
He is survived by his father, Vincent Joseph Sullivan, and his sisters, Kaitlin Madeline Sullivan and Tara Claire Sullivan.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to the addiction recovery organization CARON at caron.org.
