Nancy was born January 13, 1940 in Elm City, NC to the late Wallace Harold Murray and Murdie Boone Murray. She was a graduate of Cooper's High School in Nashville, NC and Parkview Hospital School of Nursing in Rocky Mount, NC.
Nancy was preceded in death by her brother, Frank Murray.
She is survived by her daughters, Shelley Darden (Greg), and Denise Schuck (John); sister, Beverly Joyner (Carson); grandchildren, Haley Darden, and Riley Darden; and great granddaughter, Finleigh Darden.
A funeral service will be held at 1pm Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Apex Funeral Home Chapel, 550 W. Williams St., Apex, NC 27502. Burial will follow the service at the A.H. Boone Family Cemetery, 2502 Volunteer Rd, Elm City, NC 27822. The family will receive friends and family from 12pm - 1pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
