Kyle Wade Lavender

Kyle was born to John and Vicki Lavender on December 30, 1992 in Raleigh, NC. He was a dedicated fan of many sports teams including the Carolina Hurricanes, Chicago Blackhawks, Chicago Cubs and the UNC Tar Heels, which made it easy for him to be great at his job as a Front End Lead for Golf Galaxy. In addition to being a sports fan, Kyle was also a very talented player when it came to soccer, golf and ice hockey. A loving son, devoted husband and dedicated friend, he was known for his smile, corny Dad Jokes and his many shenanigans. Kyle met the love of his life, Savannah, in August 2018 and they were married in September of 2020. Kyle was a light in this dark world, he will be missed by many and remembered by many more.

Kyle was preceded in death by his grandparents Jean & Amos Lavender, as well as Kenneth and Tamara Baldwin.

In addition to his wife Savannah, Kyle is survived by his parents John and Vicki Lavender, his in-laws Jim and Suzanne Peterson, his fur babies Tiger Lily, Luna, Dinah, Bandit and Roy, many aunts, uncles, cousins and you, his friends.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 1 pm at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St. Apex, NC 27502 with a funeral service to follow.

Kyle would not want everyone to wear formal attire, suits or dresses, so the family requests that you wear hockey, soccer, golf attire or his favorite color orange to honor Kyle on this day.

Memorials may be made to St Jude’s, a place near and dear to his heart because of his best friend Aaron.
