Cynthia Lumley McLamb

Cynthia was born in Durham, NC on December 27, 1959. She was a graduate of Apex High School and Wake Technical Community College. Cynthia was employed with NC State University, Kaiser and Mysis Healthcare. Cynthia was an active member of Good Hope Baptist Church, where she was a member of the church choir and faithfully served as Sunday school teacher for the 4 and 5 year old class for many years.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sonja Dawson Lumley.

Cynthia is survived by her husband of 35 years, Ronnie McLamb; father, Odell Lumley; sons, Ronald Wesley McLamb and wife, Ali and Brandon Odell Mclamb and wife, Jennifer; brother, Ronnie Odell Lumley; sister, Lori Lumley Sutter and husband, Karl; grandson, Chasen Dirkach; and granddaughter to be, Willow Dawn McLamb; nieces, Abbey Sutter, Riley Sutter, Katie Lumley and Mary McLamb; nephews, Jacob Lumley and Jeffrey McLamb; and great niece, Brooke Lumley; and many other extended family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held 11am Monday, April 25, 2016 at Good Hope Baptist Church in Cary. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8pm Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Apex Funeral Home.
