My mother and father, Mary and Jack Wan, were saddened to hear the news of Chuck's passing. They often joined the senior travel group and enjoyed spending time with great company in new places.  Sending our thoughts, prayers, and love to Tammy and family.

I knew Chuck through his sons who I grew up with for a number of years. I fondly remember visiting their home often and he was always kind and pleasant to us. Chuck was an impassioned and godly man. He will be remembered.

He was my cousin, and so happy to be able to so. We had a lot of good times when we were younger. I'll miss him very much. 

Chuck was certainly one of those "stand out" characters that you never forget. It seemed to me that he lived his life in high gear, full speed. Chuck was a key piece in God's working my own professional and personal destiny. I am convinced he was what helped to save my career and to bring national attention to a big issue and problem in our education system and socio-political scene at the time. Through our providential connection Chuck became a good friend and encouraging brother in Christ. What a stalwart pillar of faith and faith in action. What a wonderful solid family God gave him that he was on loan to until his time (albeit way too short) was done.


To Chuck’s family.  My sincere condolences for your loss.  Chuck and I crossed paths occasionally as volunteers at the RDU USO and I remember him as a very friendly person that loved interacting with and supporting our USO guests. I know no words can ever ease the pain of such a loss but I hope you find great comfort in the years to come of happy memories with him.  Warm regards, 

Tammy, I am so very sorry to here of Chuck's passing.  Andy called me today to let me know.  My prayers are with you and your family. 

I got to spend quite a bit of time with Chuck and Tammy recently working service projects with Rebuilding Together and their home.  I was so sad to hear of Chuck's passing as he had thoughts of coming to serve with us the morning he passed.  He spoke often of what was happening in his life and family.  I know of an upcoming wedding that he was very excited about.  I will miss Chuck's dry sense of humor and his candid discussions we had covered in dust and sweat.   Will fondly recall the time we spent together.

We have enjoyed years of friendship and are glad we got to play cards a couple times recently!! Mark has fond memories of talks with Chuck at Dunkin Donuts and Waffle House! Looking forward to seeing you in Heaven some day ! Rest in peace!!

I admired Chuck’s faith in God, perseverance in times of difficulty and his love for his family.  He boldly shared his beliefs and faith with others. 

So glad we got to share time with you this past year. We had fun at the winery and I will hold that memory in my heart ❤️.  Tammy and kids, please know you are always in my thoughts and prayers 🙏🏻🙏🏻

I got to know Chuck at  several different groups or events, including the  Wake County Taxpayers Association, The Wake County Republican party, and Pro-Life events. He was not ashamed of his faith in Jesus Christ, his love of country, and his traditional family values that he desired for future generations to be able to flourish in. My prayers are with the Campbell family during this time and I thank the family for sharing Chuck with the world to make it a better place.

As a friend of the family I would see Chuck at the Grandkids birthday parties and sporting events. It was always great to chat with him, and he would invest time in getting to know you not just be an acquaintance. Our hearts and prayers go out to his family,  who we know are missing him greatly!
