Ron received a Bachelor's degree from Elon University in Criminal Justice. He worked for 31 years for the Department of Corrections. Ron truly enjoyed hiking, working outside, watching movies, being outside in nature and being with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary and daughter, Ashley.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers.
Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams Street, Apex, NC 27502. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 21, 2023 at Faith Baptist Church, 1004 US-64, Apex, NC 27523. Burial will follow at Wake Memorial Park, 7002 Green Hope School Road, Cary, NC 27519.
