Archie Boyce Price

Archie Boyce Price, 89, of Apex, died Monday, September 30, 2013. He was born in Kilmarnock, VA to Archie Moten Price and Mary Pearl Bridges Price on March 17, 1924. Mr. Price served in the Army Air Corp as a bomber pilot during WW11. He was a member of the Jonesboro Baptist Church in Sanford, NC, and a long serving member of the Lions Club of Sanford. He was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather and faithful friend. He will be missed by all.

Mr. Price is pre-deceased by his loving wife of 59 years Winona Johnson Price and grandson Richard Price Gautier.

He is survived by his daughters: Tara Price of Apex, Sharon Henson, and husband Michael of Temecula, CA; and grandchildren: Scott Gautier and wife, Christy of King George, VA, Chris Hickman of Scottsdale, AZ, Katie Hickman of Richmond, VA, and Cory Hickman of Ashburn, VA.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 pm Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St., Apex. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm in the chapel of Apex Funeral Home. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Raleigh Memorial Park.
