She is preceded in death by her father, Louis Hill Walton, her mother, Viola Belle (Stone) Walton, and her brothers Robert Walton, Mac Walton and John Walton.
Annette is survived by her husband, Richard Taylor, with which she was blessed with 60 years of marriage. She is also survived by her son, Ric Taylor; her daughters, Kimberley Purcell (Tom Purcell) , Melissa Taylor, Melinda Schroeder (Zack Schroeder); her grandchildren; Zack, Madison, Alexandra, Emily, Reid, Sarah Elizabeth, Tuesday, Tyler, Natalie and her sister, Becky Davis (Thurston) as well as a number of relatives and close friends.
A memorial service celebrating her life will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St. Apex, NC 27502. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service until 1:00pm.
The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her last days.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Annette's honor to the Alzheimer's Association or Shriners International.
