Anne Regina Iorio

Anne Regina Iorio (née Hannon) passed away peacefully on December 13, 2024, in Pittsboro, North Carolina, surrounded by the warmth of her family. Born on June 26, 1942, in New York, Anne lived a life rich in love, compassion, and dedication to her family.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Jerry Iorio of Bellerose, NY, who passed away in 1987. Anne is survived by her three sons: Christopher Amlie (Kim) of South Carolina, Eric Amlie (Leslie) of North Carolina, and Sean Amlie (Jennifer) of Pennsylvania. Her legacy lives on through her cherished grandsons: Ronan and James Amlie (Eric), and Gabriel Amlie (Sean), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She is also survived by her brother, Robert Hannon (Patricia) of New Hampshire, and her sisters, Jane Graff (T.J.) of Virginia and Kaye (Frank d. 1984) of Florida.

Anne’s memory will live on through the many lives she touched with her generous spirit, unwavering love, and gentle nature. She leaves behind a legacy of family, faith, and the enduring bond of love that will never fade.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, December 18, 2024 from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Apex Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 12 Noon in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org
