Ann Partin Holland

Ann was born October 20, 1931 in Chadbourn, NC to the late Aldridge and Bertha Barnes Partin. She was a graduate of Meredith College and owned and operated Holland’s Jewelers in Apex with her husband Charlie for over 50 years. Ann was a faithful member of Apex Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school for over 35 years. Her life revolved around her family and she cherished the moments when they were all together.

Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie C. Holland; brother, Stuart Partin; sister, Elsie McPhaul; son-in-law, Dale Dixon; and sister-in-law, Cynthia Partin.

She is survived by her daughters, Charlene Holland Smith and her husband, Dr. Wilton Smith; Angela Holland Dixon; Paula Holland Mills and husband, Paul; Ginny Holland Sears and husband, Stacey; and Rebecca Holland Young and husband, Sam; sons, Lee Holland and wife, Gloria; and Andy Holland and wife, Kim; brother, B.K. Partin; thirteen grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 3pm Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Apex Baptist Church, 110 S. Salem Street, Apex, NC 27502. Burial will follow the service at Apex Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm February 4, 2014 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St., Apex, NC 27502.

Memorials may be made to the Mabopane Orphanage, through Apex Baptist Church.
