Glen was a retired teacher and is survived by sons Thor and Jon (Ruth) and grandson Mike. Preceded in death by loving wife Ruth (Otness) and loving wife Audrey (Kuhnley), grandson Dan, bothers Ralph, Sonny, Harold, Robert and Ray, sisters Blanche and Gladys, his father Charles and his mother Ida.
Glen was a long-time member of Advent Lutheran Church, Kiwanis Club and captain of the Advent Paint-a-Thon. He coached golf at Coon Rapids for over 50 years. He was a veteran of the Korean conflict while stationed in Panama.
Glen was born in Hopkins, Minnesota. He attended elementary and high school at Hopkins, graduating in 1945. He graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in 1949. After graduation, he taught in Wells, Anoka, and Coon Rapids, Minnesota. He also was a principal at Echo and Madison for 4 years. Glen had many interests and hobbies which included golf, fishing, hunting, attending plays at the Guthrie, and traveling.
A memorial service will be held at Advent Lutheran Church, 540 E River Rd, Anoka on Thursday, July 14th at 11:00 AM, with visitation starting one hour prior. Private Interment at Grand-View Park Cemetery in Hopkins.
