Duane Allen Michaelis DDS

Age 82 of Anoka, passed away March 5, 2018

Preceded in death by Parents, Hugo and Ann (Benson); Step-mother, Gertrude (Kuffel); Brothers, Loring and Gary; and Sister, Ruth Ann Latkoff.

Survived by Wife of 58 years, Carol; Daughters, Kate and Lynne; Son, John (Mary Jane); Grandchildren, Ryan (Allie) and Niki (Sarah); Great-grandson, Blake, a two-year-old ultimate entertainer and a guaranteed day brightener; Sister, Donna (Steve) Braun; Brother, Lee Benson; also survived by Many other close Family and Friends.

Duane was a 1961 graduate of the University of MN Dental School which he affectionately called Ding-Dong School; he dearly loved his profession. Duane thoroughly enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing & playing poker with the guys.

A very special and heartfelt thank you to the incredible staff at JA Wedum Residential Hospice; their TLC and kindness to Duane and his family will long be remembered.

Gearhart Anoka Chapel,

Anoka, Minnesota

and one hour prior to Mass at church.

~Mass of Christian Burial~

11:00 AM, Monday, March 12, 2018 at

St. Stephen's Catholic Church,

525 Jackson St.,

Anoka, Minnesota

A private interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Anoka.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to: JA Wedum Residential Hospice or the American Lung Association.
