Visitation service for Sharon Patterson Taylor, will be at Chapel Hill Funeral Home on Sunday, October 31, 2021 from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm. Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 pm in the Chapel with Kennith James will be officiating and her dear friend Cindy Williams will also be speaking. Burial will be at Anniston Memorial Gardens.
Sharon passed away on October 28, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital in Birmingham AL.
She is survived by one son, Brance Taylor, she is also survived by her friends and neighbors at Creekside Farms who she considers her extended family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Jo Goode Patterson and her long-time companion of 41 years Gerald T. Parks.
She was a 1966 graduate of Alexandria High School and was employed by Martins and Wakefield’s for 43 years.
The family would like to thank Nurse Michelle Alldredge, her caregivers, Barbara Wright, Priscilla Ross, Jackie Hogan and Arlie Brown.
Pallbearers will be Chad Usrey, Bill Williams, Mike Sargent, Ralph Bradley, Dr. Mike Gaines, Greg Feazell, Danny Patterson, and Tim Moore.
Honorary pallbearers will be her care givers, and the current and former residents of Creekside Farms.
