Mrs. Douglass passed away February 20, 2013 at her home in Anniston.
Mrs. Douglass is survived by her common-law husband, Matthew Douglass; sons, Tyler and Christopher Gallahar, and Conner Bruce; mother, Jackie Lautenschlager; sisters, Debbie Bed Good, Donna Jones, and Dorothy Yow; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mrs. Douglass was preceded in death by her father, Jack Shearin.
Mrs. Douglass was a native of Marietta, Ga; she attended Osbourne High School, and was employed at the VFW Post 924.
Mrs. Douglass loved life, she was a witty person, touched many people with her sarcastic charm. She was always there for anyone who needed her and wanted her.
