Regina G Pate

Funeral services for Mrs. Regina Griffin Pate, 75, of Anniston, will be Wednesday, November 8th, 2023, 1:00 p.m., in the chapel of Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Bro. Phil Willingham officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family would like to welcome friends one hour prior to service time. Mrs. Pate passed away on November 5th, 2023.

She is survived by her husband of 56 wonderful years, Wayne Pate; her children, Philip Pate and his wife Cathy, Amanda Peterson and her husband Ed; brother, Tommy Griffin; grandchildren, Nora Maynard and her husband Ronald, Edwin Pate, Mikayla Peterson, Mikiah Peterson; one great-grandchild on the way, Shaylee Maynard; nieces, Annie Miller, Toni Glass, including a host of other nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Pate is preceded in death by her parents, James and Nellie Griffin; brother, Carlton Griffin.

Those serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.

Regina was an outstanding wife and mother who would give the shirt off her back to help anyone in need. She always put God 1st and loved her family dearly. One of her favorite things was being a huge Alabama football fan. She is loved dearly and will be missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to ask for donations to be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital in honor of Regina.
