Moore, Grayson Moore, Hayden Moore, Taylor Moore and Judd Moore, and his great grandson Levi Erskine, in addition to many friends and extended family.
Pallbearers will be Alan George, Chris Robinson, Jordan Moore, Grayson Moore, Hayden Moore, Taylor Moore, and Judd Moore.
Larry loved his family, church, visiting in the neighborhood and nursing homes, but especially, he loved the Lord. Even from his hospital bed, he was explaining the plan of salvation to the hospital staff. He truly lived his faith. He was the longest living active member of Plum Springs Baptist Church. His special calling was teaching Bible School, his Sunday School class and his nursing home ministry.
Flowers will be welcomed, however the family would like to encourage people to make contributions to Plum Springs Baptist Church to further ministry work. One of his special fellow church members shared the following quote he said years ago. It touched her so much that she wrote it verbatim: “As a Christian, you are born into the family of God…..act like it!” and “We are not called to be rocking chair Christians, be diligent”. He truly exemplified these sentiments.
The family would like to thank the staff of RMC ER, the Oncology units, Dr. Spremulli and Dr. Paul for their excellent care.
His favorite scripture was, “For God so loved the world that he sent His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
