Funeral services for Gregory Wade Moore, 52, of Eastaboga will be 2 pm Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Plum Springs Baptist Church with Allen George officiating. Burial will follow at Plum Springs Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1 - 2 pm at the church. Mr. Moore passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at his residence.
Survivors include his daughter, Katie Erskine (Eric), his son, Jordan Wade Moore (JoJo), his mother, Linda Moore, five grandchildren, Levi Erskine, Lyla Erskine, Eli Erskine, Owen Erskine and Lynleigh Moore, two brothers, Kelly Moore and Brian Moore (Shannon).
Mr. Moore is preceded in death by his father Rev. Larry Wade Moore.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Gregory, Chris Robison, Cody Vera, Jared Vera, Grayson Moore, Judd Moore and Hayden Moore.
Mr. Moore was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. He was a member of Plum Springs Baptist Church. Mr. Moore loved his grandkids and they always called him Pappy. Mr. Moore loved fishing, going to concerts and the beach, he loved Alabama and Georgia football. He was a loving father, son, brother and grandfather who will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him. The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice,Enhabit Hospice and Cancer Treatments of America for their loving care.
