Funeral Mass at 11 AM on Thursday April 20, 2023 at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Visitation is from 9:30 till 10:30. Rosary Service will be at 10:30 and Father John McDonald will be officiating. Entombment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery with full Military Honors.
George is survived by his daughters, Teresa C. Lonergan (Alan), Angela M. Beichley (Moe). And Karen E. Callis (Mike); his sons, George J. Moore III (Deena), Thomas E. Moore (Connie), and Paul P. Moore (Krisin); sister, Pauline M. Felder; brothers, Joseph A. Moore and Deacon Philip B. Moore (Shona), his grandchildren, Anna Maria Jacob, Emily Moore, Nicole Moore, Cassidy Callis and Natalie (Luke) and his great-grandchild, Blair Pearson.
George was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa C. Moore; parents, George J. Sr. and Pauline Granato Moore; brothers, Robert S. Moore, Rev. Augustine J.; grandchild, Veronica Lawrence.
Pallbearers will be George Moore III, Thomas Moore, Paul Moore, Alan Lonergan, Dino DiGiacomo and Drake DiGiacomo.
Mr. Moore attended The University of South Alabama with his B.S. in Marketing. He was a volunteer with Meals on Wheels and also volunteered for Duke School. George was on the board of AOD Federal Credit Union.
George was in the U. S. Army for 23 years and was the Highest Rank Chief Warrant Officer. The metals received were The Commendation Medals (5X), Meritorious Service Medal.
