David Seab Yancey

Visitation is Friday, February 10, 2023 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home from 1PM until 3 PM.

David is survived by his daughter, Emily Faith Yancey; mother, Bettie Yancey; father, Tommy Seab Yancey; and brother, Steven Ray Yancey.

He is preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Scott Yancey.

David was in the US Army. He enlisted as a reservist in 2000 as a combat cameraman for 982nd Signal Company. In 2001 he opted to be a full-time soldier in the regular US Army. He served in Kosovo in 2002. He served in Iraq in 2003. He was stationed at Ft. Meade, Maryland doing TV videos, reports and produced television newscast for AFN in January 2005.
