Chris Lannier Green, born June 20th, 1958, passed away July 27th, 2022. Chris was preceded in death by his father, Huston Green; stepfather, Ken Ashworth; paternal grandparents, Emmitt and Nobia Green; maternal grandparents, Smith and Iva Boozer.
Survivors include his mother, Mickie Ashworth; daughters, Kristy and Racheal; sister, Keela (Stephen) Ramsey; nieces, Oona, Jessica, and Caitlin; grandchildren, Shi, Billy, and Lilly; brother/cousin, Brad (Cindy) Vice; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his beloved Casper.
His love of animals, his hilltop farm, storytelling and the outdoors, along with his huge heart will forever live in our memories. To honor Chris's memory, we are holding a memorial visitation on Thursday, August 4th, 2022, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., we invite all who knew him to attend in his remembrance.
