Mrs. Ford is survived by her daughter Amy Ford Hughes; her granddaughter Samantha Maria Hughes; her sister in law's Connie Blizzard, and Linda Crim (Calvin); her brother in law's Kenny Ray Ford (Nora), Harold Ford, Stanley Ford (Beverly) and Robert Ford (Pat); and her best friend of 63 years, Faye Oswalt. She had many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews
Mrs. Ford was preceded in death by her husband Roy Colvin Ford; her mother Pearl Holley; grandmother Georgianna Thompson Holley.
Catherine graduated from White Plains High School in 1962, she was a long time member of Iron City Baptist Church. Mrs. Ford retired from Regional Medical Center in 2009. Catherine enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching cooking videos and professional wrestling, and taking afternoon naps with her beloved cat, Oreo.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary Chapel, 1329 Wilmer Ave, Anniston, Alabama 36201. A funeral service will occur Thursday, September 1, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary & Crematory. The service will be officiated by her nephew, Reverend Eugene Crim. Burial will follow in Forestlawn Gardens.
Serving as pallbearers are Kevin Oswalt, Daniel Crim, Chad Blizzard, Tim Craft, Michael Ford, Stan Ford and Kenny Ray Ford.
