Funeral services for Brenda Karnes will be 2 pm Sunday, April 16, 2023 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Pastor Jerry Irwin officiating. Burial will follow at Edgemont Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1 – 2 pm at the funeral home.
Brenda Karnes, beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and sister passed away Saturday evening on April 8, 2023 she was 60.
Brenda was born April 9, 1962 to the late Elmer Lee and Jeannette N. Hart. She is survived by her children, Micah, Joshua and his wife Megan, Aaron and Angel Karnes, grandchildren, Trace, Lily, Macie, Skyler and Lane, sisters, Teena Edge (Woody), Reita Billingsley, Rebecca Ring and Debra Brimer (Ray) and her brother Ronald Hart, numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Brenda is preceded in death by her parents Elmer Lee and Jeannette N. Hart and brother Thomas Hart.
Brenda loved the Lord with all her heart and was completely faithful to her greatest love, the Lord Jesus Christ and no matter what life brought to her, her faith never wavered. She found joy in life itself, her sunshine will be deeply missed.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Karnes, Aaron Karnes, Trace Karnes, Jackson Brimer, Nickolas Brimer
Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Brimer, Woody Edge and Ralph Bishop.
