Betty Jane Daugherty

Funeral Services for Mrs. Betty Jane Daugherty, 84 of Anniston will be Thursday at 2:00 P.M. at Gray Brown Service Mortuary with Rev. Roland Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Edgemont Cemetery. The Family will receive friend Thursday from 1-2 at the funeral home. Betty passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016 in Anniston

Survivors include her daughter Teresa Poor (Steven), sons Chuck Daugherty (Joy), Greg (Rusty) Daugherty, brother Jimmy L. Martin Jr. (Margaret). Grandchildren Justinn E. Overton (Spenser), Martin W. Daugherty, nieces Donna May (Tom), Linda Allsup.

Mrs. Daugherty is preceded in death by her husband Charles A. Daugherty, mother Vera C. Martin and her father Jim L. Martin Sr.

Pallbearers will be Chuck Daugherty, Greg Daugherty, Steven Poor, Randy Hopkins, Martin Daugherty, Jack Allsup, honorary pallbearer will be Tom May.

Betty Jane Daugherty was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She graduated Anniston High School. She was member of the Salvation Army and played in the band and a member of the Eastern Star Worthy Matron (Elizabeth Spearman 81), and a member of White Shrine.
