Robert, known as Rob to his friends, was born in Annapolis on June 9, 1992 and lived in Annapolis for most of his life, having lived briefly in Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Wilmington, DE while attending art school. Robert was an old soul with a big heart and unique style who was fiercely loyal to those he loved. Always up for an adventure, Robert was a people person who loved to travel, collecting many friends along the way and always leaving a lasting impression with everyone he met.
At age 14, Robert began working in the restaurant industry and was employed at various Annapolis restaurants over the years. He was last employed at Dry 85 on Main Street where he was learning to cook and was making new friends. He was a competitive skateboarder from an early age until injuries from a motorcycle accident in 2016, from which he never fully recovered, left him unable to skate. Despite the accident, Robert never lost his love for riding his Indian motorcycle and especially enjoyed long rides on country roads with his friends.
Robert was a talented photographer who was also passionate about music, especially the Grateful Dead and Lotus. His favorite past-time was attending music festivals all around the country and he dreamed of one day attending Burning Man.
Robert is survived by his mother, Melinda Goode, and his grandmother, Marjorie Goode, both of Annapolis, and his beloved rescue dogs, Pepsi and Sammie. He also leaves behind many life-long friends and others whom he loved dearly and considered family.
The family will receive friends at the John M. Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester Street Annapolis, MD 21401 on Saturday, February 5, 2022 beginning at 1:30 pm.
