She was 93 years old. Born on June 30, 1931, in Baltimore, MD, Mary Delores Mitchell met and married Jack Blevins and spent her young adult life raising four boys in Pasadena, MD.
She later married Bob Honaker and lived in the Fredericksburg, VA area until his death, after which she moved to a warmer climate in Melbourne, FL. Mary spent an active senior life with her friends and family, participating in a variety of social events, becoming an avid bowler and taking up a successful hobby as an artist, working in oils, acrylics and watercolors.
She subsequently returned to the Baltimore area and spent her last 7 years with her family and in particular enjoying her grandchildren. Mary is preceded in death by two sons, Donald and Daniel Blevins. Surviving are two more sons, Darrell and David Blevins, nine grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Plans for a memorial service and/or celebration of life are unknown at this time and will be shared when available.
