Mary Elizabeth Blasetti

October 2, 1992 – November 11, 2024

Mary Beth Blasetti (nee Devitt) passed away on November 11th from a tragic accident.

Mary Beth was a beautiful woman with an infectious personality, contagious laugh, huge heart and grand sense of style. Her mere presence brightened any event. She was always the person you looked forward to seeing the most. MB was a wonderful mother, wife, granddaughter, daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend.

MB loved all things Bravo TV, the Ravens and Orioles. She was an avid reader and music lover, especially country music, and never missed a workout.

Mary Beth was born on October 2, 1992, at Howard County General Hospital.

Her formal education began at Resurrection-St. Paul School in Ellicott City before graduating from Centennial High School in 2010, where she excelled at field hockey and met the most wonderful lifelong friends.

During her younger years, MB spent her summers swimming for the Forest Hill swim team and later spent them in Sherwood Forest, Maryland at the Boys & Girls Camp as both a camper and a counselor. In 2010, MB and her family became full-time Sherwood residents where she met even more wonderful lifelong friends.

Mary Beth attended West Virginia University and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2014 and was a member of the Alpha Phi Sorority, where she met still more wonderful lifelong friends.

Upon graduation from WVU, Mary Beth embarked on a highly successful career in marketing as an account manager responsible for external relationships in the wellness supplement industry.

In 2021 Mary Beth married the love of her life, Nick Blasetti. Nick is a phenomenal, hard-working young man and father and together they formed a wonderful team filled with fun, adventure and love.

MB and Nick set off for a two-year adventure in Mt, Pleasant, South Carolina where they enjoyed walking their beloved rescue dog, Lulu, on the beach, dining in downtown Charleston and meeting new wonderful lifelong friends.

On September 1st of this year MB gave birth to their daughter, Mary Katharine.

Courageously, Mary Beth was an organ doner.

Mary Beth is predeceased by her grandparents George & Honora Wohlgemuth, grandfather, John Devitt and grandfather, John Schneider

Mary Beth is survived by her loving husband, Nick Blasetti, daughter, Mary Katharine Blasetti, parents, Katie and Larry Devitt, her brother Robby Devitt (Amanda), brother Patrick Devitt, grandmother Grace Schneider, mother-in-law Sandi Blasetti, father-in-law Bob Blasetti (Kim), sister-in-law Mandy Blasetti (Steven Thomas) and numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial mass for Mary will be held Monday, November 25, 2024 at 10:30 AM in St John Neumann Catholic Church, 620 N Bestgate Rd, Annapolis, MD 21401 (for those that wish to join the funeral mass by live stream please see https://www.stmarysannapolis.org/stay-informed/live-stream-masses).
