Joseph Lipinski, 73, of Annapolis, MD died of natural causes on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Anne Arundel Medical Center. He was surrounded by friends and loved ones and will always be remembered for his love of family. He was the husband of the late Marion Walker Lipinski, who was a devoted and loving wife until her death in 2002. After graduating from St. Mary’s High School in 1961, he entered the U.S. Navy. He worked for Northrop Grumman for over 40 years before retiring in 2010. Throughout his life, he enjoyed family vacations, attending to airshows, taking care of animals, and making a hobby of always recording special moments. Born at home in Luzerne, PA, he was the son of the late Leo and Helen Lipinski. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Edward and John Lipinski, and sister, Lillian Matulewski. Surviving are his brother and sister, Leonard and Florence Lipinski of Lake Worth, FL; son Kenneth, and wife Kristina Lipinski of Arnold, MD; son Paul, and wife Michelle Lipinski of Annapolis, MD; and two grandchildren, Mackenzie Jones and Walker Lipinski. A gathering honoring Joe’s life will be held at the John Taylor Funeral Home, Inc., 147 Duke of Gloucester Street, Annapolis, MD on Monday, February 13th at 10 am with a service at 11 am. Interment to follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Annapolis, MD. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Andrew by the Bay, 701 College Parkway, Annapolis, MD 21409.
