Evelyn Bergen, 96, of Annapolis, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 12, 2014. She was surrounded by her loving family as she passed at Anne Arundel Medical Center. Mrs. Bergen, married to the late Theodore T. Parkinson and then to the late Harry Bergen, Jr., was a lifetime member of the Women of the Moose Chapter 661 of Annapolis. She was also a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Annapolis. Mrs. Bergen was preceded in death by her eldest child, Betty Jane Roseberry of Glen Burnie. She is survived by daughter Anna L. Basil of Annapolis (Frank N. Basil, husband), son George H. Parkinson, Sr. of Chester (Veronica, wife), son William H. Parkinson of Galesville (Frankie Lee, wife), daughter Fran Gonzales of Chula Vista, CA, and daughter Joann Langley of Chester. Also surviving are many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Services will be held at John M. Taylor Funeral Home, Inc. 147 Duke of Gloucester St, Annapolis, MD 21401 on Friday, November 14, 2014. A gathering will be held at 10 am with funeral services beginning at 11am. Burial following at Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville.
