Santos A. “Sam” Herrera, 77 of Ann Arbor, passed awayApril 14, 2017. Sam was born on August 1, 1939 in Cajacay, Peru to Magno and Bacilia Herrera. His family and friends knew him to as a “very giving” person who always remained active helping others. The sudden departure of Sam leaves a void that will be difficult to fill. His family, siblings, and all those whose lives he touched will miss him dearly"

Sam is survived by his son, Paul; grandsons, Cameron, Michael and Zachary; siblings, Alejandrina, Zocimo, Isabel, Marina, Brigitte (Shea) Rutstein, Eugenio and Eugenia.

Friends may visit on Friday April 21, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at 4:00 p.m. at Muehlig Funeral Chapel – 403 South Fourth Avenue, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48103.
