Nancy Woodruff

Nancy was born October 10, 1936 in Ypsilanti Michigan.

Nancy was the first of five children born to Carl and Francis (Beach) Denning. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, husband Harold, son Michael, daughter Kathy, son-in-law Jim Thomsen, grandson Christopher and granddaughter Taylor.

On New Year’s Eve 1952, Nancy married the love of her life, Harold Thomas Woodruff Jr. Harold passed away February 2010, they had just celebrated 58 years of marriage, they had six children together. Nancy was a housewife and stayed home to raise their children until their youngest daughter started school. Nancy went to work at Thomson-Shore, she worked there until she retired. Nancy loved her family, reading, crafts, and her dogs.

Nancy is survived by her son Greg (Donna Bissell) Woodruff and family, Son Larry (Julie) Woodruff and family, daughter Susan (Glenn)Lockard and family and daughter Sandra (Daniel) Rae.

She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and many, many friends.

Visitation for Nancy will be held Thursday, November 10, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Muehlig Funeral Chapel, 403 S 4th Avenue, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48104.

A visitation will occur Friday, November 11, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 403 S 4th Avenue, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48104. The funeral service will immediately follow. A burial will occur Friday, November 11, 2022 following the funeral service at Washtenong Memorial Park, 3771 Whitmore Lake Rd, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48105.
