Jeffrey Hunt, a dedicated University of Michigan enthusiast and longtime Ann Arbor resident, passed away unexpectedly on April 11, 2024, after courageously battling a prolonged illness at the age of 72.
Born on December 14, 1951, Jeff was a quintessential Ann Arbor local, deeply ingrained in the fabric of the community throughout his entire life. From his formative years at Pioneer High School to his later role as an ardent supporter of the Wolverines, Jeff's affection for his hometown and its sports teams remained steadfast. As a loyal season ticket holder for the University of Michigan, he fervently cheered on his cherished team through thick and thin.
But Jeff's interests extended beyond the realm of sports; he possessed an infectious zest for life. Whether on the golf course pursuing his passion for the game or simply enjoying good company, his vibrant spirit left an indelible mark on those around him.
A graduate of Western Michigan University, Jeff dedicated himself to his family business, Mundus & Mundus Insurance, where his diligent efforts left a lasting legacy of hard work and commitment. Additionally, he owned Metro Exterminators, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit and diverse professional pursuits.
Beyond his work and sports fandom, Jeff had a profound love for travel, relishing the opportunity to explore new horizons. His adventurous nature knew no bounds, and the memories forged during his escapades near and far will be cherished by those who shared in his experiences.
Jeff leaves behind his beloved sons, David (Caren) Hunt, Christopher Hunt, Granddaughter Brynn Leigh Hunt, his sister Tari Rowe (Bill), and his nephew Bill Rowe.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie and Betty Hunt and niece Jennifer Rowe.

Jeff will be laid to rest at Bethlehem Cemetery in a private service, surrounded by his family and close friends, as they bid farewell to a cherished father, friend, and member of the community.
