Anthony Richards

He leaves his loving wife of 61 years, Ruth (Farrage) Richards; his daughter

Karen Andrew and her husband Tony ; his son, Michael Richards and his wife

Cathy; his daughter, Lara Capperauld and her husband Arthur; his daughter

Janine Rice; his son Anthony Richards; his son Thomas Richards and his wife

Melissa; two brothers; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren and many

close friends and family.

Born in Cleveland Ohio, the son of Michael and Minnie Richards. Tony moved to

Los Angeles with his family when he was 16 years old, there he met his life long

best friends Dino, Rafe and John

.

He served his country in the army during the Korean War, where he received the

bronze star for his act of heroism in a combat zone

.

A loving and supportive son, husband and father who enjoyed golfing, bowling,

playing cards, traveling and being with family and friends. His best vacations

were when he could combine all together. He had an entrepreneur spirit; with

over 40 years in business. He owned 2 successful hair salons, a men’s clothing

store and helped launch Gourmet Pie and Cafe.

We will always carry his memory in our hearts. Services will be held at St. Isidore

Historical Plaza, Los Alamitos, CA on Saturday, May 28th at 10:00am.
