William (Bill) Davis Barclay

William Davis “Bill” Barclay was born September 15, 1946 to William Grant Barclay and Coreene Barclay in Floydada, Texas. Bill, was raised in Pleasant Valley, Amarillo, Texas. One son, Tony Davis Barclay of Sacramento, California was born from a previous marriage. Bill married Mary Welch in 1990.

Bill worked in the Job Corp, Groendyke Transport, Ryder and Loomis. After his retirement, he did small engine repairs. His hobbies included mechanic repair, bowling, playing his guitar, watching wrestling and John Wayne Movies.

Preceded in death by: his parents William Grant Barclay (2003) and Coreene Barclay (1985), his wife Mary (2014) and an older sister Juanita Faye Yarber (2018).

Survived by: three brothers; Billy Wayne, Ricky Lynn and Lonnie Gene, (Tammy) all of Amarillo; three sisters, Linda Louise Willard, Connie June Moorman, (Gary) and Cynthia "Cindy" Ann Pringle all of Amarillo; 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and dear friends.

He will be miss by both his family and friends.
