Ron was an amazing father, Young Papa, and Papa and spent his last days surrounded by those whom love him.
Ron was a lover of all things cars. His love for cars started at a young age, and he found himself working alongside his father Gilbert Hooper Pendley in the car business. He went on to own and operate Pendley Auto Sales for over 50 years.
Ron moved to Amarillo from Spearman with his parents in the late 1950's. Ron was a father of two children, Laurie and Kevin.
He enjoyed weekend meetings with his friends at the Donut Stop and his monthly meeting with his car club.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents Gilbert and Vontella and brothers William 'Lon' Pendley and Richard 'Dickie' Pendley.
Ron is survived by his children Laurie Green and Kevin Pendley, grandchildren Timothy Green, Rebecca and husband Eric Moro, Tiffany and husband Jonathan Minjarez, and great-grandchildren Christian, Ginessah, Elliana, Greyson and Ethan, girlfriend Jane Moss and her kids Bobby Moss and wife Kelly, Aaron Moss and wife Connie and grandkids Gavin, Rebecca, Katie and Kelli.
A visitation for Ronald will be held Thursday, August 25, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 East Interstate 40, Amarillo, Texas 79118. A funeral service will occur Friday, August 26, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Pray Amarillo, 4000 SW 50th Ave, Amarillo, Texas 79109. A graveside service will occur Friday, August 26, 2022 at 11:15 AM at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 14200 Texas Plains Trail, I-27, Amarillo, Texas 79119.
