Reba Janet Carroll, 82 of Amarillo passed away November 3, 2014. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with Pastor Jerry Davey officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 I-40 East. Janet was born January 13, 1932 in Ft. Stockton to Hollis and Mattie Mae Smith. She married John Carroll in 1950 in Carlsbad , New Mexico and were married for 48 years. John was a truck driver and Janet loved to travel with him on his truck. She also enjoyed painting, all arts and crafts, her dogs and was an absolute animal lover. She was a devoted, loving mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed by all. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Carroll in 1998 and by her parents. She is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Fagan and husband Tommy, Belinda Smalley and husband Donald both of Amarillo; granddaughters, Summer and Ashley Jamison both of Amarillo; also by her great-grandson, Tristan Gee of Amarillo.
