Nathan Dan Shackelford

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 26, 2015 at Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, with Dr. Randy Davis, Pastor of Lifeway Fellowship Baptist Church officiating.

Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery

Dan was born on May 5, 1948 in Amarillo to Nathan and Murell Shackelford. He passed away peacefully on January 23. Dan graduated from Caprock High School and attended Frank Phillips and WTAMU. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy Seabees and was a two tour Vietnam Veteran. His family would like all his extended family and friends to remember Dan’s love for them all and for Christ our Savior.

Dan is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Vada Spies and Anita Carper, and a daughter, Sara, whom he is now with in their heavenly home.

Dan is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Renee; two children, Dana and husband Chris Evans and Brandon Shackelford and wife Bettima; and grandchildren, Trey and wife Courtney, Trent, Emmalee, Izabella, Liliana, Aleeyah, Aiden, Acesa, Mya and a soon to be great-grandson, Clayton Michael.
