Milton David Blume passed away peacefully on November 19, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born on October 18, 1940, in Childress, Texas, to Milton and Mayme Blume, Milton served his country in the United States Army with honor and pride.
On June 12, 1963, he married his beloved wife, Joyce, and together they raised two wonderful children, Julie and Chris. Milton’s love for his family was immeasurable, and he was the foundation that held them together. He instilled in them the values of loyalty, hard work, and the importance of cherishing each moment spent together.
Milton was an avid sports fan who found joy in watching all kinds of games. He also loved spending time on the golf course, enjoying the outdoors, and fishing. He had a deep love for animals and always showed kindness to those in his care.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Mayme Blume, his sister Barbara Eudy, and brother-in-law Jay Eudy.
Milton leaves behind his devoted wife Joyce, daughter Julie Taylor, son Chris Blume and his wife Erin, as well as his cherished grandchildren Dillon Taylor, Kaitlyn Blume, Corey Blume, and Aimee Blume.
Milton’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and his legacy of love, family, and devotion will never be forgotten.
